EXPERIENCED. INNOVATIVE. RESOLUTE.
Drew Pomerance
FROM NATIONALLY RENOWNED LITIGATOR TO FULL-TIME MEDIATOR.
After 40 years as a successful and nationally renowned trial and appellate attorney, Drew Pomerance is excited to use his considerable knowledge and experience to focus on private dispute resolution as a full-time mediator. Over the course of his career, Drew has specialized in litigating complex business, class action, employment, and insurance matters. As an advocate, he handled hundreds of mediations for his clients, both as a Plaintiff and Defendant. As such, he has a thorough understanding and appreciation for how cases are properly evaluated which makes him uniquely qualified to handle complex and challenging cases in almost any area of civil litigation.
Prior to his transition into mediation, Drew served as the senior co-founding partner of his Woodland Hills based law firm, Roxborough, Pomerance, Nye & Adreani, LLP. During his tenure there, he handled hundreds of cases for businesses of every size and type- both on the Plaintiff and Defense side- during all phases of litigation, from commencement of the lawsuit, through trial, and on appeal. He has numerous reported opinions from the state and federal courts of appeal, including two landmark victorious decisions from the California Supreme Court. Drew is also one of the most experienced and sought-after class action attorneys in the country, having represented the Plaintiff class in the largest rest break class action case in California history, as well as representing numerous businesses in defending against class actions.
His dedication and hard work have won him recognition throughout the legal community and as such he is respected by both sides of the bar. Drew is a Life Fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), the most prestigious invitation-only trial lawyer organization in the United States, as well as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, The Trial Lawyer Honorary Society. He has been a frequent speaker and lecturer at trial lawyer conventions and seminars throughout California on insurance and employment topics and has been recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer every year for over the last decade.
As a mediator, Drew not only brings his extensive knowledge and legal acumen, but equally important, a fair and even handed perspective to every case. Having had first-hand experience in litigating the kind of cases he will now attempt to resolve, Drew has a unique appreciation for each side’s perspective and goals. As a result, Drew can quickly digest the complexities and nuances of a case, so as to propose innovative and creative ways to settle.
Drew is looking forward to serving as a Mediator on a full-time basis, and will be available for class actions, employment, insurance, and complex business cases.
